Minimum Advertised Price Policy

CGAP Enterprises LLC, doing business as CGAP Safety ("CGAP Safety"), has unilaterally adopted this Minimum Advertised Price ("MAP") Policy for its products. CGAP Safety invests in product design, published safety guidance, and customer support. This policy protects the ability of resellers to provide that same level of service to customers.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all advertising of CGAP Safety products by resellers in the United States, in any medium, including websites, online marketplaces, print, email, social media, and paid search.
2. Minimum advertised price
The MAP for each product is its current Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price as published on cgapindustries.com. For a standard 8 x 12 aluminum sign, the MAP is $29.99.
3. What counts as advertising
Any price displayed to the public before checkout, including strike-through pricing, coupons applied within the advertisement, bundle pricing that implies a per-unit price below MAP, and "click for price" displays that reveal a price below MAP.
4. What this policy does not cover
The price at which a reseller actually sells a product; prices shown in a shopping cart after the customer has added the item; written quotes and bids to identified customers; and in-store or in-person prices that are not advertised.
5. Enforcement
CGAP Safety will determine in its sole discretion whether a reseller has advertised below MAP. First instance: written notice. Second instance: shipments suspended for 30 days. Third instance: reseller authorization terminated.
6. Unilateral policy
This policy is not an agreement. CGAP Safety does not seek, and will not accept, any assurance of compliance from any reseller. Resellers remain free to set their own selling prices. CGAP Safety will not discuss this policy with resellers beyond providing a copy and answering questions about its terms.
7. Changes
CGAP Safety may modify or discontinue this policy at any time with 30 days' notice on this page.
