Quality & Warranty
Every sign we ship is built to still be legible on the day it matters, which may be years after it goes up. This page is what we check, what we promise, and how to make a claim.
What every sign is made of
- Substrate: .065-inch aluminum sheet. It does not rust, warp in heat, or crack in cold.
- Print: UV-stable inks that hold contrast in full sun. The red DANGER header stays red.
- Format: 8 x 12 inches, landscape, rounded corners, four pre-drilled corner holes.
- Layout: Signal words, colors, and layout follow the ANSI Z535 series, the format OSHA references. Where OSHA mandates specific wording, we use the exact words.
The long version is on How Our Signs Are Made. The numbers are on the specification sheet (PDF), and hardware and placement are in the mounting guide (PDF).
What we check before it ships
Signs are made to order in Amory, Mississippi. Before a sign is packed, we check:
- Print density and color against a reference sign, with particular attention to the signal-word header
- Text and symbols for completeness and alignment
- Edges, corners, and hole placement
- Flatness and surface condition
A sign that fails any check is remade. Nothing is sold as a second.
Standards we design to
| ANSI Z535.1, Z535.2, Z535.4 | Safety colors, facility safety signs, product safety signs and labels |
| OSHA 29 CFR 1910.145 | Specifications for accident prevention signs and tags |
| OSHA 1910.146, 1910.147, 1910.1200 | Permit-required confined spaces, lockout/tagout, hazard communication |
| OSHA substance-specific standards | Regulated area signs use the exact wording the standard requires |
| NFPA 70E, NEC 110.16 | Arc flash marking and electrical safety in the workplace |
| NEC Article 555 | Marinas, boatyards, and docks, including shock hazard signage |
| NFPA 855 | Stationary energy storage system signage |
| ANSI Z136.1 | Laser controlled areas and classes |
| ACR MRI safety guidance | MRI zone signage, Zones I through IV |
A sign supports a facility's safety program. It does not by itself make a site compliant, and we do not claim that it does. Our guides explain what each standard actually requires.
